TDX - Hoppers Wood Culvert

Amalgamated Construction requested a site visit from an Aqua representative to investigate the options available to extend an existing culvert to repair a collapsed embankment. Stuart Smith went to site the very next day and discussed these options with Amco engineers, using our combined engineering knowledge a planned solution was decided upon and the required measurements taken to proceed. Aqua then created a CAD design drawing for the system, which was forwarded to Amco and then in turn to their designers/Network Rail for approval. This design was approved, then manufactured and installed in a very short period of time. Network Rail was extremely impressed with the finished project. This project highlights how working together the client and Aqua can provide excellent solutions for Network Rail, which enhances both company’s reputations within the rail industry.
